Which type of store will work best?
Although we feel any SAUCERS store will be a strong contender for the consumer dollar, we obviously recommend that you consider the location above all else. Any business will maximize its greatest success by a combination of location, foot traffic, a higher volume of cars and the visibility of eye-catching signage.
Just bringing a SAUCERS unique, ethnic tasting "Quick Fresh Food" menu to your area will be your optimal result. Options range from freestanding buildings, office areas, airports, strip centers, college campuses and malls. See our kitchen and get hungry.

How long will it take to open my SAUCERS store?
A number of factors go into this question. Once our simple agreement is entered into (Click here to see Saucer's Lease Agreement), and if you have an existing business, the most time necessary is about a three to six week process to get your supplies, signs, ovens and prep tables up and running. Much is dependent on if the location is ready regarding state, city and county Health and Planning requirements. If a site was already a restaurant, conversion is much simpler in most cases. The type of decor you wish is a factor as well as is your local sign company supplying you with the necessary SAUCERS exterior and interior signs. More often than not a store can be trained in a two-day period one of in our training kitchens, and in turn train his or her staff in just a couple of 4-hour periods. Our ovens take about three weeks to arrive from the order date. 

Where do I order my food products to make the SAUCERS concept?
One of the goals set out by the creators of the SAUCERS concept was to bring the ultimate simplicity from the opening process to the daily operations. From training to ordering, this concept thrives and succeeds because of its simplicity. The food products needed to prepare our entire 32 individual recipes are always available in the various locations from your local restaurant distributors to your local price clubs and even your corner grocery store! Throughout the country from state to state and from city to city, all of the necessary ingredients are constantly available. Your inventory control is virtually "waste free"!

Do I have to buy a specific 8" rounds and sauce? Yes. Consistency is the key ingredient to the make all of the 32 recipes comes from this specific 8" Round. SAUCERS will only grow nationally by consistency. The product has unique ingredients that enable it to be cooked with any of our 32 receipts meeting the critical "Quick Fresh Food" time frame of 3 minutes. Our SAUCERS Rounds are coated with various sauces as dictated in our specific recipes and topped with specific portions all baked in our specific SAUCERS "timed" ovens. The sauce is also key for its absorbtion rate and its spices for all mixtures of sauces. You will be able to purchase all food products from local concerns.

Must we buy items from SAUCERS ?
No, we do highly recommend the Lincoln Impinger Counter Top series ovens. These oven costs vary depending which of the four options of stores you select. The ovens help regulate the quality of the product and bring the consistency necessary and required of a SAUCERS location. Who wants an under cooked food item or worse yet a burned food item!!? The Rounds and the absorption rate of the sauces and the toppings must be cooked precisely or one could destroy the integrity of the SAUCERS product. One specific cooking time has been created for all of the 32 SAUCERS carefully formulated individual rounds and their easily applied ingredients. The Rounds, the portions and the ovens all work in careful conjunction with the sauce portions, and toppings. Using the Impinger results in consistency in quality bringing a perfectly cooked, rich tasting "Quick Fresh Food" item all brought to the consumer in the critical 3 minute SAUCERS time frame!  If you're in business to offer freshness and speed with up to 10 Saucer's 8" Open Face Rounds on the oven belt at one time, you should go with the Impinger series.
